How to make the perfect cookie

Updated: Oct 24, 2019

Well just ask Luke !!!!!im pretty sure he would want his cookies just like mama made them !!!!

my signature cookies are vintage chocolate chip recipe based. A recipe my grandmother taught me. And one that I also adapted. I have baked over the last couple of days, enough cookies to probably pave the way from London to geneva !!!

top of the list however would be my chocolate chip and coconut cookies that went down really well at my sons nursery.

Feedback so so far consist of “ These are tasty and moreish” “can we have some more“

moreover my son son is a huge fan of making them with me in the kitchen. They are his current favourite snack to munch on the way home. Also healthy and tasty too. I am in control of the sugar so can ensure my son doesn’t have too much.

The recipe is nice and simple and easy to do. Doesn't take too long and I predict for the passionate bakers maybe an hour to do in total

THE MOORISH COOKIES

150g salted butter softened....80g light brown muscovado sugar.....80g granulated sugar.....2 tsp vanilla extract....1 large egg.....225g plain flour.........½ tsp bicarbonate of soda

¼ tsp salt........

200g plain chocolate chips or chunks
